Together, Creating Horizons, Changing Lives

We are delighted to present the August 2026 edition of HORIZONERS — the official magazine of the Rotary Club of Chandigarh Horizon, RID 3080.

This edition captures a club translating its vision into action. Across 23 stories of service, fellowship and impact, HORIZONERS documents initiatives spanning healthcare, blood donation, youth leadership, education, peacebuilding, environmental sustainability, inclusion and community engagement.

Among the highlights are our Mega Tree Plantation Drive, major blood donation initiatives including the collection of 102 units at ISB Mohali and 111 units at another community camp, the Rotary District 3080 Online Peace Summit, RYLA and youth programmes, learning-disability awareness initiatives, and several other projects demonstrating Rotary's commitment to meaningful community service.
As I wrote in my message as Chief Editor, HORIZONERS is intended to be more than a record of events. Our public image must document impact, inspire participation and build credibility. Every story should ultimately represent action and a community positively affected by Rotary.

This edition also reflects an important balance for the future of Rotary — embracing AI, technology and innovation while remaining firmly anchored in the human foundations of compassion, fellowship, integrity and service.

I invite Rotarians, partners, friends and changemakers to explore this edition and experience the growing journey of Team Horizon.

Our charter gave us an identity. Our projects are giving that identity meaning. The Horizon is expanding — and we are only getting started.
